On behalf of Corinthia Hotels I would like to clarify that this incident is erroneously being attributed to the Corinthia Hotel Tripoli, also known locally as the Corinthia Bab Africa, whereas in reality the hotel that experienced this incident was the Rixos Hotel. The correct name of the hotel is the Corinthia Bab Africa Hotel.

It should come as no surprise that Corinthia let its hotel be controlled by the former regime.
