I disagree with slightly on this Daphne. When I visit Malta, which is rare, I am struck at the beauty of some young people. I think you are referring to middle-aged people here.

Something which makes people ugly is their lack of good manners, this is not lacking in Malta.

Terrible.

We Maltese are nothing as awful as the atrocious people who mean to represent us and who regularly appear on the media.

These two pics are very unrepresentative.

80% of the individuals shown are monsters.

The lady minister has a BMI of around 35.

The Herr Minister is more of a garden gnome.

In reality, the state of affairs in the country as a whole is much, much rosier and prettier.

And thank God for that.
