It is obvious that John Dalli had something to hide from the Police when he went abroad with an excuse that he was feeling unwell.

It is also a huge surprise that in Brussels there was no good medicine for his recovery. And the PL never commented on the case and his situation and action either.

However, with the result of the last election Dalli had a very speedy recovery and I am sure that the new Police Commissioner was a special medicine for him.

Both prime investigators were transferred and posted in better positions and also within the same branch. Shifting two prime, and high ranking fraud investigators from the Police does not make any good at the moment for the Police Force as it is public knowledge that the Police lack investigators in this very delicate Police squad.

But people will still ask the reason why this shifting has been done? Maybe to keep everybody involved in this particular case happy and with their mouth shut. But this action leaves also the genuine people in the dark of such a serious case which highly tarnished Malta’s reputation with the EU.

I wonder what John Dalli would have done if Labour did not win the election as I presume that he would have remained in Brussels for treatment for all his life time.

Returning to this business of getting back Dalli into local government, when he was given the sack from Brussels, I’m wondering who’s playing into the hands of whom.

Is the ex police Commissioners John Rizzo of the same opinion about John Dalli as his successor?

The fact that John Dalli was miraculously healed just after the result of the election and returned to Malta right away shows that some understanding was reached between him and Joseph Muscat not to continue with the investigation.

Hence the transfer of the two officials in charge of his case. Commissioner Rizzo and inspector Gafa. The facts speak for themselves.
