Joseph Muscat is a dangerous person.

He would drive Malta to its ruin trying everything in his power to get business from anywhere that is not Europe, in the hope of proving himself right being against Malta joining Europe.

He is so engrossed in his personal glory that his foresight is only directed to that purpose.

We have all seen to what extent his over ambition can drive him, by looking at all the obvious pre-election promises made.

What sort of economic growth, exactly, is he talking about? How much, in what sectors, to whose benefit?

And he’s a fine one to talk about good neighbourliness. Didn’t he tell us Malta should exploit Egypt’s political turmoil to boost tourism arrivals? And that we’d best not get involved in Libya’s uprising because, you know, Gaddafis people might win?
