Do you really think that he knows nothing about the mindset of those who voted for him? He knew that inciting racism and xenophobia would win him points among a number of sectors in society and that it would distract attention from the Dalli scandal.

So he just waded ahead.

Now he’s let the genie out of the bottle and I wonder if it will take some really serious incident to get it back in.

I just hope that nothing irremediable happens but I have lost faith in those who are supposed to be controlling and calming down the situation.

Why did we have to know the parents’ nationalities in the first place? I suppose that had they been Gozitan, even if foul play was involved, then there’d have been a severe case of omerta’.

I strongly feel that the only reason the nationalities were mentioned in this case is because the parents are both of African origian. Prosit, Muscat.

Why does a cot death have to be reported anyway? Isn’t it traumatic enough for the parents without having to read about it in the media?
