Yes, but we don’t know how that meeting went.

But in all fairness, I truly pity the boy.

He didn’t live long enough to try and extract himself out it all, if such a thing were indeed possible.

There should be a well-publicised agency to help young people break out of these situations, if they wanted to. Give them a new identity, help them find work abroad if needs be. Protect them from their families.

It’s done in some countries with Muslim/Hindu girls either running away from planned marriages or just wanting to exercise their freedom.

Children born into these criminal families really stand no better prospects than routine visits to Corradino.
