This morning, a driver stopped to ask me something. In the meantime a lady driver started hooting – as we were obstructing – whilst at the same time talking on the mobile phone. She was in a hurry.

And how many children under twelve years of age sitting in the front seat or other toddlers not buckled in a child’s seat do you come across, while their parents drive nonchalantly along.

It’s just I find these people so irritating. Especially the ones that stop in the middle of the road blocking traffic so that they buy the bread or something stupid like that.

It has nothing to do with the government. I have been driving for donkeys years and it has always been the same. I suspect it has to do with our Mediterranean culture.

I have always tried to adopt the rule of “Mhux kif issuq int, imma kif isuq haddiehor”. It seems to have worked so far, thank God.
