Little prick in Maltese would be “zbajjeb” (the middle “j” indicates the diminutive or an endearing connotation as in twejqa, tfajjel, fqajjar, sbejjah etc).

The report was typical Super One reporting. A close up of a mobile phone screen showing your message was displayed on the TV screen, whilst the newscaster referred to the JPO initiative about cyber-bullying. Your message was displayed completely out of context. The impression conveyed to viewers was that you were harassing JPO, hence his action.

The text was translated as “Ghax ma tmurx tixxejjer ja zokk zghir mignun.”
