Shameless and bitchy. What must the diplomatic corps worldwide be saying right now. I can imagine the next wiki-leak in around 30 years revealing a message from Moscow to the Washington:

‘Check out the little pre-pubescant fools in Malta bitching at each other on twitter. Are they serious?’. Ok, I am adding a joking twist to it, but you get the gist.

Thank heavens that we had a real government during the Libya crisis. People think this is a joke but they keep forgetting that Malta is a NATION STATE RECOGNISED BY THE WORLD AS SUCH.

We can’t have this. It is undermining our future as a nation state. This happens when other countries are no longer able to take us seriously. To them we will just become a Nation State in a purely legal sense. This is very bad.

Government via Twitter. Well, that will appeal to the least common denominator he’s constantly courting (well, other than when he’s trying to impress the High Society).

And as a prime minister he should at least know the difference between a storm in a teacup and a criminal assault and should keep his mouth closed while there is an ongoing criminal investigation (well, maybe I’m being naive but I’m assuming there is one).
