He’s not tweeting for commercial reasons, he’s tweeting to say “look at me I’m attending boat launches”, like that tweet at the Joseph Calleja concert was saying “look at me I’m at a concert”.

Everything he does, he does it for appearance’s sake … not for its intrinsic value. He doesn’t appreciate and understand classical music, fine arts, the pleasures of sailing, the honour of serving your country, and so. He’s only interested in the status and the image.

If he weren’t running the country I would pity him. Instead I pity the nation.
