Muscat says here: “It is our duty to help all those who need our help in such situations. That is where the strategic position of our country comes into play. But this is important not only in times of necessity and instability.”

What a hypocrite. This is the same man who treated people rescued from sinking boats, at the start of the summer, like cattle, and who insulted Commissioner Malmstrom by telling her ‘Take them to your country’.

On its part, here is how Joseph Muscat’s Labour refreshed its tree of liberty with some (new) blood in 2008. Incidentally, wasn’t this the time when Shiv Nair started courting Joseph Muscat?
