Yes, but somehow I still do not trust the agenda of Times of Malta after how they behaved prior to the election.

They are insisting on Tronka’s resignation. If they want to be fair they have to equally insist on the the resignation of Manuel Mallia. There are more serious reasons why Mallia should go.

For me, this means one of either two things. Either there is some kind of war going on at Allied newspapers or Joseph Muscat is trying to get rid of it-Tronka, hence the pressure.

Ix-Xitan, not to be outdone (xjaten never are, by the way) contacted the duty officer and informed him of the Bronka’s instructions. The duty officer transmitted these to the captain who, in turn – and as he was bound, I would think – obeyed them without further hesitation.

The duty officer is consequently being blamed for his part in the whole stinking charade.

Now, the question is: What would have been the captain’s position had he not obeyed the duty officer’s order; and, in turn, what would have been the duty officer’s position had he simply ignored ix-Xitan’s unlawful ‘instructions’ given by the Bronka and did not transmit them to the captain.

Answer: They would both of them be blamed and “brought to justice” by the Bronka or his henchmen.

That, we know well enough unfortunately, is how Labour works.

Bronka is a lying shite and he has given us ample proof in when declaring his income and bank loans.

What irritates the heck out of me that nobody seems to take any action on what is a blatant under-declaration of income. To say it in Maltese to make sure he understands it, “Min ghalih li qed jitnejjek bil-parlament u bil-poplu ta’ Malta.”

The Tax Compliance Unit should audit Bronka. Even a simple scrutiny of his bank loan accounts (which I assume are granted by commercial banks) will reveal a minimum level income that must be already way above what he declared if he is servicing his debt in full (i.e. paying interest and capital).

We cannot believe a person who will blatantly lie on paper and put his name to it. Even more so when he thinks that the rest of us are a bunch of powerless fools. Powerless, that is, until four and a half years’ time.

It’s about time too, quite frankly.
