“Pyongyang, October 1 (KCNA) — Kim Jong Un, first chairman of the DPRK National Defence Commission, received a message of greetings from Maltese President George Abela on September 11.

The president extended sincerest greetings and congratulations to Kim Jong Un and the government and the people of the DPRK on behalf of the Maltese people and on his own behalf on the occasion of the anniversary of the DPRK.

Expressing the belief that the good relations between the two countries would continue to grow strong in the interests of the peoples of the two countries, he wished Kim Jong Un good health and the people of the DPRK steady progress. ”

While I express solidarity with the people of North Korea for the suffering they live in, I have no words of greetings to the young dictator, and to the concept of the DPRK.

Why does the President of the Democratic People’s Republic of Malta send greetings to a bloody dictator on my behalf and I am not informed through public news services?

As reported in the Malta Independent “Mr Mizzi said that the previous administration had dragged its feet, but he had started working on the project from the very first day he was appointed minister. He said that in the past six months, this government had done what the previous government had failed to do in six years.

Mr Mizzi said that around 80% of the project has been completed, and in a few weeks, the remaining EU funded works start.”

As far as Mizzi and his party are concerned we would not be speaking about the EU-funded projected at all if they had their way in 2004.
