‘with over half a century of experience……..’. That is surely a miracle since Nair states that he was born in 1961. That makes him just 52 years old. Either he is some sort of wonder kid or he is spinning yet another yarn.

The Borneo Holdings website claims the guy, born in August 1961, has “half a century experience in international diplomacy and governance”. He really started young and I can really figure him out when he started off, brokering deals and chewing off on his Montecristo cigar when he was two years old.

That answers nothing. Rather, it raises more questions than it tries to answer.

Shiv Nair’s date of birth has been set as August, 1961 on a couple of links posted over here. If that’s true, he’s 52 years old. Which means he can’t have “over half a century of experience”.

Furthermore, the very same link you posted lists two people with the “Nair” surname, and the biographical details are different. Is “SP Nair” Shiv Nair’s relative? Either that, or part of his obfuscated identity.

And there’s no such thing as the “Scottish Business School”.

[Daphne – His father appears to be in the mix, too: born 1933 and an almost identical name. He is the one who originally set up British North Borneo, using the name of a venerable but long defunct company from the days of the British Empire.]
