‘….Substantial incentives to encourage the regeneration of our village cores (UCAs), which are being neglected at an alarming rate and there is a huge lack of interests among developers to invest in these localities:

Renovation is demolition then.

Poor things, they say they’re not interested with current restrictions, and nasty private individuals who took it upon themselves to buy and renovate to live in, have cornered THEIR market.

These will be called ‘Special Designation Areas.’ Of course, special as in their exclusive right to decide what has to happen. And who gives a toss what happens to property value when their mechanised methods move in.

They also propose that all of Gozo be one of these.

Judging by the way that cardboard placard was hung across the mirror, the results can be easily predicted. It’s not even straight.
