We are all very curious about his next steps, not that we do not have enough laughing stock with every single minister in this republic.

His gimmicks are of another nature though, a tragi-comic person who always wanted to play the first fiddle only to produce a string of continuous jarring notes at the expense of a whole nation.

So by presenting some e-mails and this picture , Salvu wants to convince the public (the courts won’t be impressed) that Gonzi and minister Gatt had their finger in the pie on this so called oil scandal.

Interestingly there’s no reference to Tonio Fenech who in this picture does not seem to recognise this family, and which our Salvu wants us to believe that Fenech knew well.

What I believe about this whole story is that our politicians put business people with a good reputation in key government positions, and left them to their own devices. These chairpersons and financial controllers found a fertile atmosphere where they could ask for kickbacks without being caught for years.

The agent had to hand in a cut to these white-collar criminals in return of information about the bid price of other oil suppliers.

We will soon be told by our Salvu that the boy in the picture is implicated in the scandal: he was the one who forged and sent the said e-mails to Malta Today, because daddy did not buy him the latest computer game.
