Don’t be surprised. This is typical socialist indoctrination: start them young and when they are adolescents, convince them that they are in. Remember the Labour Red Brigade? This time round it is being done in a more subtle way, using a TV programme as an excuse. This is China all the way.

I never watch, but is Super One seriously running a bedtime story reading show for young children, featuring aging politicians of dubious appearance and unfortunate speech impediments? I mean it’s not like the kids have any real idea who these strange looking people actually are, is it?

My stars, it’s surreal. Couldn’t they have asked in some popular personalities the little ones can actually identify with?
