A remarkable feat by any standards. M. Hollande after making such a public statement and seeing what a calculating mercenary Muscat truly is, you need to publicly retract this and admit that you too, like the people of Malta, have been deceived by Muscat.

When Lawrence Gonzi wanted an electoral push, he went to Germany to meet Angela Merkel: highly successful, smart and loved by most of her people.

When Joseph Muscat wanted an electoral push, he got an endorsement from a wily, dangerous and inept man with very little to show for his time spent presiding over France.

One’s public life tends to reflect one’s personal life (look at Italy under Berlusconi as an example). That’s why I maintain that Eddie Fenech Adami and Lawrence Gonzi are two of the cleanest politicians Europe has ever had.

We all took them for granted of course and moved them aside so that we could be liberal and progressive. Time will tell whether the liberals and progressives were on the right side of history.

Interestingly, in spite of all the liberalism (in the way Labour understand it) which the west claims to profess nowadays, Bill Gates has just been voted as the most admired man alive.

In a stable marriage since 1994, a spectacular inventor, a great believer in capitalism and a philanthropist extraordinaire who has dedicated years and millions of dollars to social and scientific experiments which will improve the lot of the world’s poor.

Yes, in spite of all the lousy Hollandes and Muscats of the world, people still appreciate people with good values when they find them

One reason for wanting a president who has a sound set of morals, for example that of not cheating on one’s spouse, is that if one can deceive one’s spouse one can just as easily deceive electors. Hollande and Muscat are made for each other.

France is becoming a Third World country and chasing away all of its businessmen — you know, those people who actually create real jobs, not the type Muscat and his goons create — and now all of this sordid news is coming to light. They really make great bedfellows don’t they?

In my opinion through reading between the lines I am highly suspicious of the prime minister touting the idea of deleting the abrogative referendum clause from the Referenda Law.

That would be the best way to not holding the Spring hunting referendum besides the possibility of killing his love child that is the IIP (a.k.a. the prostituting of our nationality).
