I’m not sure why he felt the need to emphasise that women need to act in a frivolous manner and not show an ounce of intelligence. Most Nisa Laburisti are already following the advice given by this video, and to the letter.

Having said that, most Irgiel Laburisti are following suit.

The Malta Independent and Times of Malta both reported Joseph Muscat’s Sunday speech today but they failed to highlight the big news in bold lettering on the front pages.

Apparently, he said that the gas pipeline which will eventually replace the oil tanker berthed in Marsaxlokk might not be connected to mainland Europe but ‘to the south of Malta.’

The only countries to the south of Malta are turbulent northern African ones.

If Muscat is planning on putting Malta’s energy generation capacity in Libya’s hands, he’s even barmier and more reckless than we thought.

Hi Daphne, I recently flew to Istanbul Ataturk airport. Passengers of most nationalities, including those requiring a visa for entry into Turkey, could go through a section called Passport Control 1.

To my surprise, people with a Maltese passport had to go through a separate Passport Control 2, alongside Iraqi, Sub-Saharan Africans, Egyptians and one or two other dodgy nationalities.

This was my first time in Turkey, so I wonder if this is some new post-citizenship scheme precaution. Maybe some readers could clarify? I’m quite curious.

Does the folllowing apply to Alfred Sant only or to Simon Busuttil as well? The latter is undergoing procedures in a case of breach of privilege in parliament.

Much was made about last week’s Economist ‘Malta Investment Summit’. It was made out to be a ‘trovata’ now that we have Muscat as PM.

Well tell you what, a similar Economist summit is being held in Baku this week themed ‘Azerbaijan Investment Summit’.

Could it be the Muscat and his Azeri friends got a bulk discount from the Economist to organize a summit on consecutive weeks?
