The Palazzo dei Camerlenghi from the Fondaco dei Tedeschi.

Part of the magistrates’ palace was used as a jail for insolvents hence the name of the embankment Fondamenta de la Preson.

The photographs are only takes seconds apart.

Note the person with something red on her shoulder has moved only a few steps away in the other photograph.

The chap framed by the window hasn’t even moved and he’s there in the second photo too, so much for coincidence.
