Yes, Triccas had a good collection of songs and the best was ‘Stairway to Heaven’, his unique way of expressing frustration at how the Maltese society had ended up during the Golden years under labour was brilliant. This is also found on youtube.

Although I never frequented the place myself everyone my age knew or spoke about the goings-on at Chris Engerer’s place at the Exiles.

It was a kind of oasis for many and rumour had it that he used to be warned whenever some raid was about to take place and this is how he got away with it for ages.
