At the time when this happened she was militating in the MLP while many university students including myself belonged to the international branch of ‘Solidarnosc’, and were inspired by it to unite in protest against the oppressive, undemocratic and repressive socialist government of Mintoff and KMB. Malta was a microcosm of what was happening in Poland. What a double-faced double-take.
