Being scared to stand up and be counted is tantamount to cowardice. We learn it at school, at home and even our religion teaches us that we should sacrifice ourselves for those who are oppressed.

I know sometimes it’s difficult because nobody likes getting insulted or injured, but if we are not going to stand up for what we believe in then we cannot grumble and moan about these issues because by doing nothing and being too afraid to speak up we are letting these bullies do as they please.
