Savior Balzan’s single excuse is that he was raised by this venomous snake, I doubt he ever knew love, understanding and empathy throughout his childhood.

The rest of his days though are all of his making, once in “politics”; his mother idolised him and forced his articles down young students’ throats throughout their secondary years. After all, perhaps, just like FD’s mummy, it was all Madam’s fault.

She was there when I was at St. Dorothy’s Senior School, Mdina. In my day, we had to refer to her as Madam Balzan. I was very well-mannered and well-behaved but was in her bad books a number of times because I occasionally spoke in Maltese.

She was a very bitter, unkind and I guess, very unhappy person. I didn’t know she had any children. Imagine returning home to that mother. Il-vera miskin. And I mean it!

Baxxter, if this poser wants to know how spectacularly well retail is doing, I suggest he comes to us retailers, door to door.

Anybody who I speak to says that the retail sector is going from bad to worse. So my suggestion is, get your facts right or shut the f**ck up.
