I was there and counted over 25 soldiers with white t shirts. Don’t know what time they were there but definitely were there at 11.30 sitting on the beach with hundreds of plastic bags full of sea weed.

They were obviously waiting for some patrol boat to collect the bags and it could be that they were there all day.

Can Manwel Mallia of ” hiring waiters fame” let us know the cost of yesterday’s operation involving 25 soldiers .

In the past this cleaning used to be done regurarly by a couple of men and in the month of June not during Santa Maria week.
