"Muscat too does what he thinks he can get away with, rather than what is appropriate."

It's called a Lateral high within the Lateral scam variety. Withdrawal symptoms won't happen too fast if the scams are of a wide variety and occur with high successive frequency. Guaranteed. And that frequency a must at all times where there is no positive value filter to what is happening.

Stooges of discontent just as necessary. Note how these have been strategically placed at the perimeters to gather those tending to slip out. Illusion at work. Perception is real even if it is not reality.

'Sin' awareness is a positive value filter. Its absence permits optimal culture conditions for what is happening. The manner by which the divorce issue was handled was useful for creating deeper manipulative slots and throwing the net wider.

Ivan Fenech: the aspect of sin and vice was consciously targeted since just after Joseph Muscat was elected leader.
This is even depicted, with a date and signature to it, and on record. A small detail fundamental to current operations. Imperceptible warfare, when being put gradually into place. Distinctly traceable with hindsight.

Reaction and catch-up realisation are 'progressively' downed by new stuff. A dulled media was a pre-requisite.

Always onward, forward, upward...

A deeper analysis and a look backwards would have the spotlight on the sewer type network of deceit that was laid.

The employers shot themselves in the foot. The real abuse of sick leave is when employees take sick leave when they are not really sick or have some condition which still permits them to work.

In my view, sunstroke is not necessarily an excuse for leave especially for non-physical work. Besides sports injuries are usually involuntary and not self inflicted. A hangover is not a sickness.

I work in the public service and when I decided to undergo a cosmetic surgery I availed myself of my vacation Leave.

I made it a point during that year to keep my vacation leave for that purpose.

Whilst I hadn't consulted with any HR personnel on this, it never had occurred to me that I would be entitled to sick leave for a surgery which I WANTED to undergo and because of which I was unfit to go to work for a specific period of time because I WANTED IT.

I always thought sick leave was to be availed of in cases where sickness affected anyone unwillingly, and without any voluntary willingness to get sick. No wonder sick leave is abused of in a horrific manner.
