Dr Busuttil is cleaner than snow. He is politically right not to involve himself in this mischief.

He is morally correct in refusing to have anything to do with the Minister`s shortcomings and irregularities.

He is even more right when he tells the Prime Minister to start acting like a boy of 15 launching himself in the political experience of 25 years in Opposition.

In the instances shown in the second and third photos, I would have suggested a simple toy – a water pistol loaded with the smelliest of liquids (always readily available if one cares to save some when necessity calls).

It’s not difficult to use – a six-year old could aim it perfectly – and an abundant squirt at the President’s feigned admirers would just serve the right deserts.

The fact that these people need armed guards only goes to show that they are scared of being targetted by certain people.

I ask why and who?

They must know a lot more than they are revealing to the general public.

There is no such thing as money for nothing and if they are breaking promises and pre election deals than no wonder they are shite scared.

The only “first lady” who could have justifiably requested armed protection was Mary Fenech Adami after she was attacked by the same species of people who seem to think that an armed chauffeur is a status symbol. Armed guards, SUVs, tinted windows… they watch way too much telly.

Actually she’s got another two protection officers and they carry a weapon too. I’ve seen them with her at Mater Dei Hospital around two weeks ago and although they were wearing a suit their side arm showed well.
