I have it from well-informed sources (who work with Enemalta at the plant) that the tanks which are currently used for the storage of HFO and which were scheduled to be removed, will now in fact not be removed at all.

On the contrary, these tanks are to be kept (presumably still for HFO storage, as I doubt they could be used for any other fuel), and the government is to spend millions of euros in a system which uses water and soap (some sort of pipe/filter system) which will mask out the odour and fumes emanating from these tanks.

If only. Despite occasions such as during his budget speech yesterday when he did seem to have woken up, Mr Busuttil has also been rather foolish and at times even nonchalant in his behaviour towards the government’s excesses such as his Facebook fireworks and festi posts last summer and his participation – almost side by side with the ministers he’s supposed to be harassing – at the charity run last weekend, giving the impression that despite all that’s going on the Opposition and government are actually friends.

We have yet to see this particular leader of the Opposition truly waking up. I hope that his speech yesterday will be backed up by congruent behaviour towards the government’s future and further misbehaviour, but I remain sceptical.

In reply to La Redoute. Flies reproduce 3 to 4 times a month and are ready to mate when they're 7 days old. They will need that pile of shit to be constantly fresh because their saliva breaks it down pretty quick.
