Unless this Sheehan chap is pathologically trigger-happy, or a highly strung neurotic of the Oscar Pistorius extraction, there was clearly no need to pull out a firearm, let alone fire it three times at a fleeing car, just because of a smashed mirror.

If Joe ‘Awtobassa tal Iljun’ Mizzi got it right when someone ‘rammed’ his ministerial car, any intellectually-challenged stone can do the same. Unless, as you ask, there is more to this botched cover-up attempt.

That emphasis on “visiting his mother in Gzira” seems to be the kind of detail thrown in there to misguide the media and the public.

Why were the two men on the same street at the same time? How did Morrison Smith end up on this road – where-from-to was he going? Or had he been in the neighbourhood and then driven off?

Is Sheehan’s mother’s house in Gzira used as a meeting place for some shady business?

I see that the broken mirror could be another easy deviation: anyone can break a mirror before the media arrives. So was it just the mirror that was broken on the minister’s car?

The fact that Morrison Smith was a client of Dr. Mallia raises further questions about what was going on here.

The thing which would be most interesting here would be if the whole farce/tragedy (for us who have to live under this lot), is if the whole scene were recreated.

I have played it back and forward in my head and the only thing I can compare it to is a Jackie Chan movie.
