Not a remote possibility. How else can Joseph Muscat get the public to focus again away from the cover up of the Manwel Mallia blunders?

Earlier this week, Konrat Mizzi announced an “interlocking agreement” between Enemalta, Shanghai Electric and Electrogas. Even The Malta Independent thought it wise to use quotation marks with the phrase “interlocking agreement,” because it is such an unusual and undefined term.

What exactly is an “interlocking agreement”?

Do you think Super One journalist Lindsay Gambin know what an “interlocking agreement” is?

TMI reported the Minister of Milestone Schedules saying that: “There will be no obligations to buy from any particular plant. Within the coming days the new timelines for the gas-fired plant will be announced,” he said.

Excellent. So does this mean that there will be no 18 year agreement?

My suspicion is now stronger: some deal has been reached about the interconnector. Is it being privatised to the two powerstation operators? Something tells me that the interlocking agreement has something to do with the interconnector.
