I was going through the traffic when that was being craned into place. It was the peak of the morning rush hour. Contrary to what Joe Zejt Intellghu f’Sena Mizzi was telling us last week, that works connected to arterial roads will not be carried out during rush hours

Keep in mind where all these billboards erected illegally on public property are.

Not only is the government paying money to the owners of these billboards for perpetrating illegalities but mark my words, soon after the present notices are discarded, the billboards will be used for private advertising with more income going to their owners.

Perhaps a contribution from this income goes into the pockets of others. Months later MEPA might do something about the situation, if at all.

As a matter of interest, what gun was it and how many bullets does it hold?

One never knows in this country… at least if we know how many bullets there are in “security guns” we’d have an idea of how many prayers to fit in.

It’s not just “imbecilli,” but also insensitive.

Besides, I am expecting to see that billboard torn apart with three bullet shots any time soon. It’s protruding too far onto the carriageway, there is a real risk that one of the Ministers’ cars will scrape a side mirror against it.
