Acrid remarks have become the hallmark of this government. Note here the shoot down approach with no follow through with actions which are expected of a minister:

Of course he cannot commit himself to asking for another investigation, as he should, because then he would have to spend months or even years studying the conclusions and possibility of their publication.

But then this was a ‘special’ container, silly us! What were we thinking?
