If the minister’s car and the driver were not taken for forensic gun shot residue checks, then the public has a right to know who the person in charge of the investigation, on the scene, was and if he decided to neglect this duty independently or if he was ordered to do so.

Accepting the shooter’s version over that of the victim is not an option for a memeber of the police force. It that were the case we would need protection FROM the police.

Someone’s job is on the line here as well. Perhaps minister Mallia can phone his office to get a lawyer for the fall guy? Wasn’t it reported that Sheehan has Azzopardi?

Or maybe a charge of perverting the course of justice needs to be included somehwere? If the car was cleaned, how about adding destroying of evidence?

What does it say about Mallia that he thinks it fine to expose his young daughter to this kind of environment? She may not have witnessed the shooting, but God alone knows what she must have seen, left in a household and in the care of those sorts of people.

In reply to M.Mifsud. That accused was not freed by anything done in that court room. He was freed as a result of an insistent pre-trial vilification campaign in the media to discredit, and to create bias in the eyes of potential jurors, against the crucial key witness for the prosecution who had been granted a predidential pardon.
