I read that the Prime Minister will wait for the outcome of the board of inquiry to determine whether Minister Mallia was involved in the shooting incident, and if he was directly involved, the Prime Minister will ask for his resignation.

At least this is what I understood from media reports.

However, Minister Mallia’s position is untenable irrespective whether he was directly involved with the shooting incident.

I have no doubt that the board of inquiry will determine that the minister was unaware of the incident when it happened. I should hope so.

Minister Mallia’s position is untenable because it was his driver who caused the incident, because the driver is a constable and the Minister is in charge of police.

That he tried to give other indications on how the incident occurred only aggravates matters.

Nexos are being awarded works on direct order basis by government entities like there’s no tomorrow. Ask his competitors.

They are sacking employees due to lack of work.

No call for tenders are being issued hence these have no bloody chance of being awarded lighting system installation works.

It’s public knowledge. A parliamentary question would be in order.
