Withholding information does not constitute a violation of democracy. It can be for business or national reasons. There are cases during the previous administration where we were not being told all. The press is free in Malta, with ample pluralistic broadcasting sources. The electorate will then decide whether this ‘withholding’ was worth it or not, or whether still to consider ‘divulging all’ as sacrosanct.

I see Azerbaijan as an emergency meeting. It does not augur well when one negotiates as the ‘underdog’ and Malta sure is one right now.
