You missed the whole point. This is the context of the verse I quoted above:

When the teachers of the law who were Pharisees saw him eating with the sinners and tax collectors, they asked his disciples: “Why does he eat with tax collectors and sinners?”

On hearing this, Jesus said to them, “It is not the healthy who need a doctor, but the sick. I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners.”

And no, you won’t get the crumbs if you strive for sainthood. The greater the love of a person on earth, the greater the glory in heaven – though everybody is perfectly happy in heaven, not everyone will have the same glory. An analogy would be this: imagine a large mug and a small glass, both will be filled yet they won’t have the same volume.

So John Dalli gets the fatted calf and righteous idiots like me get the crumbs from the table. A fine religion, is Christianity. It’s Islam for me, I think.
