Perhaps the English equivalent to this Maltese proverb is “Birds of a feather flock together”.

One of the few advantages? So the almost 1 billion euros in funds which Maltese received aren’t an enormous advantage of membership?

Or the fact that Maltese people can work and live in other EU countries with enormous ease?

Had Malta not joined the EU, we would have been doomed. It’s the best thing Malta ever did, and Eddie Fenech Adami is Malta’s true saviour.
