I agree 100% with the conclusion in this comment. The Scotsman’s car showed no sign of damage and aren’t BMWs supposed to be more robust than Vauxhalls? Why are not any of the Vauxhall’s mirrors damaged too?

Let’s say Sheehan wasn’t lying when he said that the Minister was with him. Wouldn’t this change quite a lot of theories?

And maybe the fact that the Minister was actually with Sheehan at the time was the reason why Smith wanted to speak to the Minister?

Could it be that the cover up is not the Minister helping to cover up up Sheehan, but a whole cover up to protect the Minister who was actually with Sheehan?

I think we need to start thinking a bit out of the box here.

The different versions being bandied about regarding the exact location of our bulky Minister i/c the Police – whether in a car being “titfaqqa'” in Gzira or jollifying at a social function at the Police headquarters – raise all sorts of suspicions and would be funny if the whole episode were not so ominous and so tragic.
