The MFSA does not ask for proof of address so it is quite easy to get around that, by for instance, presenting your passport instead of your ID card.

What difference does it make if the car has foreign plates?

Are we discussing who he is, what he had and where he’s coming from or what he went through? I believe the latter is the issue.

Can the MFSA explain the apparent discrepancy in their records?

Is he Maltese or is he not Maltese?

This is a serious matter.

How is he allowed to drive around Malta in a UK-registered car?

That car has been on our roads for quite some time.

And what is his tax status?

Does he pay income tax as a Maltese citizen or as a foreigner?

Or is it the case that his business is neither taxable or VAT-liable?

This guy has friends.

Friends in high places.

Who are they?

This is what a PM should be trying to find out instead of escaping to his bed.

A real PM that is.

Certainly not one who is a fraud.
