What about the heavy fuel oil which EneMalta procures for power generation?

The Minister should be asked to step down for this statement.

The Minister is admitting that prices cannot go down and savings passed to consumers now because of hedging agreements entered into under his responsibility.

The Minister’s argument is equivalent to “prices cannot go down and savings transferred to consumers because of the Minister’s political incompetence.”

The Minister must carry his political responsibility. The hedging agreements entered into form part of his political responsibility. Don’t think the electorate voted for hedging agreements.

Someone must compute and publish the total cost of this gross incompetence for consumers.

Shame on you, Ministru.
