In its electoral manifesto Labour promised to “continue to implement and facilitate schemes for regularisation for those who have MINOR pending issues with planning and sanitary compliance”. (My emphasis.)

From what has been said so far, MAJOR pending illegalities will be eligible for a permit under the amnesty, subject to the payment of a fine.

I would like to hear Minister Brincat’s opinion as to how this will impact the countryside and the natural environment.
