It’s a no-brainer – nippremjaw il-bzulija, and being Labour we will not discriminate as, you imply, we will reward anyone – Labour or Nationalist – who with their hard work has amassed a fortune and has been. busy hiding it from our tax authorities even while forming part of a government that chases others for their taxes.

Perhaps another reason why they are protecting Falzon and Zammit is because they are expecting some much more massive disclosures about their own people – I can think of quite a few who might fit the bill, and who might not even have regularized themselves with this amnesty. We’ll wait and se .

It is mostly income not declared for tax purposes in the past years.

Joseph Muscat today said he will investigate all those who held money in foreign banks. What a liar.

He cannot do anything to them if they declared it under the last amnesty, as did Ninu Zammit.

But then what do you expect from the man who appointed as minister someone who held €500,000 (more than the bank account of Michael Falzon) under the mattress.
