This is precisely why that the strengthening of laws against real child abusers (such as this man) must go hand in hand with the relaxation of laws regarding younger adults.

The PN government had already toughened up the laws against paedophiles and was in the process of relaxing laws against ‘crimes’ involving people aged 16 and over.

When I was 17 years old I knew that I preferred a 30 year old partner rather than another 17 year old. It was my choice and it is ridiculous to label the older partner a predator.

Thankfully, people with good sense in both political parties Claudette Buttigieg (in the PN) and Godfrey Farrugia (in the PL) seem to know this, and they are doing some excellent work to protect real children while at the same time protecting decent adults from spurious claims of abuse.

Shut him down before he starts.

If he’s serving a suspended prison sentence he should not be allowed to organize anything like that for under-aged girls.
