How else would one explain the actions of a person who, from youth, mixed with people he felt would better his status, who created a successful career, only to demolish it all in a few months and revert to surrounding himself with those same types he had managed to distance himself from so many years before.

When we were young and at that time I loved football, we used to say that the attacking dribbler “ghamel bizzilla mid-difiza”(sic).

Now we have a new use for this word – defining a fine piece of architectural magnificence. What a stupid definition but what did we expect from a Philistine?

Of course it IS an amnesty .

The fact that you pay a penalty doesn’t mean it is not an amnesty – and it appears it will be a nominal penalty, given the illegalities .

If it were not an amnesty, there would be enforcement and demolishing any illegal structure.

Hopefully Busuttil won’t be in agreement with the government on this “non – amnesty” as well.

Persisting in writing and speaking English and demonstrating to all and sundry how ignorant they are does not make any sense at all to me.
