No, I don’t wake up at 4am to go to the countryside but what I did last year, at the end of April, was spend a weakened at the Kempinsky at San Lawrenz in Gozo, and every morning, during that weekend, at the break of dawn, all one could hear, until around noon was shotgun blasts which irritated everybody in the hotel.

There obviously was some fanatic or a group of them, shooting everything in sight and littering the countryside with lead.

Spring hunting is going to be voted out and good riddance to the lot of you savages.

Building some silly mission in remote Africa is not going to get you any votes.

I wonder how many times you actually visit the countryside during spring and see with your own eyes the many birds that you are claiming are being shot down by the hunters. I’m sure that you don’t wake up at 4 or 5AM to go in the countryside to see (quoting you) “YOU LOT SPOILING THE COUNTRYSIDE AND SHOOTING EVERYTHING THAT FLIES”.

Are you real? You can’t compare farmed animals with wild ones which struggle to survive due to lack of habitat and food, predators, diseases etc.

Meat comes from farmed domestic animals which are bred for the purpose, like cows which do not even exist in the wild and never did.

The likelihood that somebody raised in that environment will grow up to reject it is tiny. In the same way, boys raised to respect nature and understand the importance of conservation will not reject those arguments and set about destroying species.
