The ‘Cafe Premier’ model should be promoted by Malta Enterprise. This is an unbeatable incentive and should attract a lot of investment.

So may I ask why the Cafe’ Premier before the elections finished off a high class fast service sushi restaurant (inside their building) when it was written on the wall that they could not meet all their bills.

At one point the government said that there were certain kitchens that needed to be replaced. Maybe there was another deal in the pipeline.

This is absolutely unbelievable. So with the handsome amount of €4.2 million the two businessmen Camilleri & Curmi came out clean without even losing one cent of their investment in this failed business venture.

Maybe all those who are thinking of opening up a business should rent property from the government and then ask it to be bailed out should the venture go bust.

The key word is ‘offer’. It is the government that supposedly was making an offer, not Cities Entertainment.

The amount due to government in the form of upaid rent, VAT, social security contributions and utility bills was Eur689,684. That means government paid out six times what it was owed and then claimed to have recovered its costs.
