He was later replaced with the change of government in 1987 and brought to Malta by the new Chairman Joe Tabone.

The good talker however managed to worm his way into Mr Tabone’s office until Mifsud had to resign from the bank for some irregularity in the early nineties.

With Alfred Sant’s government he had a new opportunity to make himself important and was appointed CEO of Maltapost.

At BOV we know a lot more about this pompous viper and now he seems to be at his old habits again, having been empowered by Joseph Muscat..
