As far as I am aware it is John Dalli who did himself a great deal of harm by conducting business with a bunch of international fraudsters. Daphne published enough details and evidence to have him arrested and charged.

Going by your theory again, Daphne and all other decent journalists (a very rare breed in Malta) do themselves a lot of harm when they publish the truth.

As for my fixation on another person, well you are implying that Daphne suffers with the same condition. That is very offensive Kev you should be ashamed of yourself.

Going by the same yard stick you seem to have a more serious condition because out of the blue you start leaving comments on Daphne’s site in Dalli’s defence. In the past you never did. Also, when you were responsible for publishing Malta Fly online you often made facetious comments and cartoons about John Dalli.

Now all of a sudden you have turned into an apologist trying to defend the indefensible, full of conspiracy theories despite the fact that Daphne published a large amount of undisputable evidence confirming that John Dalli and his daughters have been dealing with a bunch of international fraudsters while he was commissioner.

Your behaviour makes people wonder why you have been conducting yourself in this manner. It also makes people think that you haven’t got anything to do in Brussels. In which case it makes people wonder if

I don’t think you can say that about Dalli. In the circumstances, I find it very hard to believe that Dalli would solicit 60 million euros, especially through Zammit.

For starters, it’s not the way corruption works at that level, since rewards can take a variety of (legal) forms, and this is something the tobacco industry is well aware of.

One thing is known: the tobacco industry was never keen on Dalli and his eventual ousting served to effectively delay the implementation of the directive, reportedly saving them billions of euros.

And please, concerning ‘conspiracy theories’, try and understand what the term actually means. The phrase itself was coined in order to blind you even further.

Most so-called ‘conspiracy theories’ are not theories at all, but proven facts. The world RUNS on conspiracy.

And the higher up you go the less transparent everything becomes, until the fog is impenetrable to the non-investigative eye.

You simply fail to investigate such matters because they sound too incredible to be true, other than not knowing where to start and who to believe.

They are of course paradigm-shattering and no one wants to be told that much of what they believed to be real is in fact deception and fabrication, while most of what is truly happening is concealed.

As Einstein once said, ‘condemnation without investigation is the highest form of ignorance.’ In other words, prejudgementalism causes intelligent people to suffer ignorance.

Zammit was Dalli’s stooge. A stooge and a fraudster would believe they could ask for €60 million on a promise they knew could not be delivered.

Conspiracy theories only help to smoke-screen the truth. Dalli has cried wolf too often and we’re not listening any more.

Dalli can bring Muscat down by saying what he can if Muscat fails to keep him happy.
