‘Ghorfa’ is a series of upper rooms in a farmhouse usually used as sleeping quarters (and for related activities).

In Maltese we have the old word ‘gharaf’ relating to marital activities carried on up there.

Who knows, maybe Dalli is still intent on dilly-dallying, at his age, even if he needs snus to get going.
