Seriously? The NAO found a lot wrong with the transaction and it is the incapacity of people like you to distinguish what is right and wrong that is at the source of what is wrong with this country.

Especially by those who after demonizing the lowly, make a u-turn when they start showering money they never had.

How can such fools vote intelligently? Taken for granted that these bourgeoisie are also found licking prelates for self esteem.

It is not the contents of the deal that are in question. It is the fact that the deal was done at all, to say nothing of the manner in which ‘negotiations’ were held.

The taxpayer pays because all the entities which should have stopped a bleeding business eating into public money did not do its due diligence.

We seem to need to find one culprit and focus on him. Why are we so simplistic in our understanding of all the corrupt holes which need to line up to get this result?

The person with the most power in this deal did not only abuse Eur4.2 million but also corrupt the institutions which have mechanisms to prevent this abuse.

It’s either that or our rules, regulations and laws need to be scrapped and re-written. So which one is it Mr. Prime Minister?

What a bunch of losers. If there was anything untoward, then the auditor or police would have acted. This is just a case of political mud throwing and an attempt at character assassination.

When a business ‘fails’ one should look at the owner and his lifestyle before forming an opinion.

We have seen quite a few examples in Malta but it seems people prefer to both not look too deeply and also to forget quickly.
